The presence of Belgian teams Crelan-Euphony and Topsport Vlaanderen-Baloise, French Team Europcar and new kids on the block, Swiss IAM Cycling, will add up the numbers for Amstel Gold Race.
Today race manager, Leo van Vliet, officially granted the four teams a wildcard for this year’s edition of the Ardennes classic.
With today’s invites, Crelan-Euphony, Topsport Vlaanderen-Baloise og IAM Cycling can now take pride in the fact that they have been given the go-ahead for all three Ardennes classics this year.
Previously Team NetApp-Endura had also been invited to Amstel Gold Race.
Besides the 5 wildcard teams, Amstel Gold Race will also, naturally, include the 19 WorldTour teams.
