Mikel Landa faces a very important season. After a disappointing 2016, the Spanish rider wants to redeem himself in 2017. The main objective of the Sky climber will again be the Giro d’Italia where he will be the captain of the British team.
Landa has outlined his schedule for Spanish newspaper AS where he reveals that he will make his debut at the Vuelta a Andalucía or the Vuelta a la Comunitat Valenciana and then participate in Tirreno - Adriatico. After the Tace of the Two Seas, Landa will not participate, as he has done in recent seasons, in the Tour of the Basque country. Again the last event before the Giro will be the Giro del Trentino where he will try to repeat the success he achieved 12 months ago.
This year Landa had to abandon the Giro but he bounced back at the Tour where he supported Chris Froome.
