Team LAMPRE-MERIDA's riders spent the eve of Flèche Wallone familiarizing themselves with Wednesday’s route on a morning training.
Led by technical assistant Marco Marzano, the blue-fuchsia-green group covered 70 km of the route that will start in Binche and end in Huy.
The Lampre-Merida roster that will try to assault the Huy wall is made up by Damiano Cunego, Diego Ulissi, Matteo Bono, Davide Cimolai, Massimo Graziato, Manuele Mori, Daniele Pietropolli and Simone Stortoni.
"Cunego showed in the past editions that he can be very competitive on the Huy wall, so we can expect a good result by Damiano,” Sports Director Piovani explained. “At the same time, Flèche Wallone is one of the key targets this season for Diego Ulissi. He delivered a good performance in 2012 and this year he aims to do even better. The team will rely on two captains in order to try to conquer the wall."
