Today the training of Lampre-Merida ended at the Monza circuit. General Manager Saronni has finished two days of hard training. The goal was to prepare the team for the Team Time Trials in Florence the 22th of September.
On the asphalt of Monza, Lampre-Merida have investigated the dynamics of the team time trial. Lampre has made a plan for the positions of riders in their train. After riding the Monza circuit, the team now feels sure on how to get the optimal speed out of the track.
The training ended this morning with the team president Emanuele Galbusera following the team. The Mayor of Monza, Roberto Scanagatti, and the Councillor with responsibility for Sport, Silvano Appiani, wanted to welcome the team and General Manager Saronni.
The team ended up as 28th out of 32 teams last year, so they have an improvement to make this year. This year's team includes time trialist Adriano Malori. He was won the U23 TT national championships twice, U23 UCI World TT Championship once and is former National Champion in TT.
