LAMPRE-MERIDA will be back in the Giro dell'Appennino after three editions of absence.
On Sunday 17th April, sports director Marco Marzano will be with seven blue-fuchsia-green riders: Kristijan Durasek, Tsgabu Grmay, Chun Kai Feng, Louis Meintjes, Przemyslaw Niemiec, Simone Petilli and Xu Gang.
The distance of the race will be 196,6 km, with a finish in Chiavari after the climbs of Passo della Bocchetta, the Crocetta d'Orero, the Passo della Scoffera, the Colle Caprile, the Ruta di Camogli and Le Grazie.
"We selected a great group of climbers for a demanding race as Giro dell'Appennino," sports director Marzano explained. "Simone Petilli is young, however we feel that he is ready for great performances. Together with him there will be experienced riders like Niemiec and Durasek and the African duo Grmay-Meintjes. Xu Gang and Feng will try to join the breakaways."
