For the 100th edition of the Tour of flandres, which will take place on Sunday 3rd April, LAMPRE-MERIDA's sports director Mario Scirea will have Sacha Modolo and Chun Kai Feng (both suffering from the flu in the past days) back and will welcome Davide Cimolai, who recently won one stage in the Volta a Catalunya.
The official line-up of the blue-fuchsia-green team at the start of the Belgian classic will be Davide Cimolai, Chun Kai Feng, Roberto Ferrari, Marko Kump, Sacha Modolo, Luka Pibernik, Xu Gang and Federico Zurlo.
Yesterday LAMPRE-MERIDA trained on 60 km of the course of the race, covering the most demanding hills and the main cobblestone sectors: On Sunday, the first goal will be to be represented by at least one rider in the main breakaway, while for the second half of the race the riders in-form Cimolai and Kump will try to exploit their energies in the best possible way.
For the first time in the Tour of Flandres, a Chinese cyclist and a Taiwanese cyclist will be at the start of the race.
