The final day in the Three Days of De Panne had a double event: in the morning, the 114 km semi-stage with start and finish in De Panne, in the afternoon the individual time trial of 14,2km in De Panne.
Sacha Modolo succeeded in obtaining a place on the podium: exploiting the perfect help from lead-out man Ferrari, Modolo started the sprint behind Guardini and, at the end of a very long action, obtained 3rd place, behind winner Kristoff and Greipel (2nd).
In the afternoon, Nelson Oliveira was the fastest rider from Team LAMPRE-MERIDA in the individual time trial. The Portuguese champion covered the 14,2 km of the course in 18'38", 49" more than winner Wiggins.
The 2015 edition of the Three Days of De Panne is won by Kristoff, while Modolo is the best blue-fuchsia-green rider with 25th place (+2'05") and a good series of results: 9th in the first stage, 5th in the second one and 3rd this morning.
LAMPRE-MERIDA's next appointment is the Ronde van Vlaanderen. Mario Scirea and Daniele Righi will direct these riders: Bonifazio, Cimolai, Ferrari, Modolo, Oliveira, Pibernik, Pozzato and Richeze.
