Maurits Lammertink is on the long list for the Tour de France of his new team Katusha Alpe. The 26-year-old Dutchman has revealed the exciting news in an interview with Wielerflits.
Lammertink has spent the past week with his new team at a training camp in Spain. His season will begin in January at the Tour Down Under, where he will get a chance to ride for himself. His main goal in the spring is the Amstel Gold Race and then he can prepare for his debut in the Tour de France.
"It's still not sure, but I will focus on it," said Lammertink.
In 2016, Lammertink won the Tour of Luxembourg overall which secured him a contract at the highest level.
