World champion Michal Kwiatkowski is wanted on the transfer market. The contract of the 24-year-old Pole expires at the end of this season. Although his current team Etixx-Quick-Step wants to retain him, a switch to Sky seems in the making.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Kwiatkowski already has an agreement with Sky. Michal Golas, compatriot and confidant of Kwiatkowski would move along to the British team with him. Golas is currently also under contract with Etixx-Quick Step.
Kwiatkowski is currently to preparing for the Tour de France. His next race is the Tour of Switzerland in June. Kwiatkowski took his first win in the Rainbow Jersey at the major Ardennes Classic, Amstel Gold Race.
