Davide Rebellin will join Kuwait-Cartucho.es. The Kuwait - Cartucho pro team has confirmed the signing which has been rumoured in recent days.

The Italian rider has signed for one year and will be joining the list of already announced riders of the team: Axel Costa, Andreas Keuser, Jose Manuel Gutierrez, Fernando Grijalba and Stefan Schumacher.

Despite his age (45 years), Rebbelin will join the team not only to show all his talent, but also to offer his experience to the youngest riders of the team that will have the opportunity to learn from one of the most important teachers of the peloton. 

In the past season, Davide Rebellin proved that he is still capable of big results as he obtaind 15 top 10 results in high-level races. Before he served a suspension for a positive test from the 2008 Olympics, he won races like Amstel Gold Race, Liege - Bastogne- Liege and Fleche Wallone and the General Classification of Paris Nice abd Tirreno Adriatico.

The team will announce the next riders in the coming days.
