The programs and hierarchies are taking shape at Bora – hansgrohe. The team seems to have established the calendar of their GC riders for the Grand Tours. Rafal Majka had initially explained that he wanted to do the Giro d’Italia and the Vuelta a Espana but has now opted for a Giro-Tour double but the captain in the French race will be Leopold Konig, according to a report from Spaziociclismo.
König will presumably also do the Vuelta a España and will go for GC in the Tour where he will also leave room to Majka who is likely to have a free role, with the option to go for his third polka dot jersey and stage wins.
It is also taking for granted that Peter Sagan will return to the Grande Boucle where he will aim for a sixth green jersey.
