WorldTour Team Katusha starts in the UCI 2.1 stage race Tour of Slovenia, which will be held from June 18th to 21st.
The team will have numerous options in the four stages. Alexander Porsev will target the sprint stage on the final day and can count on support from Rudi Selig and Luca Paolini. The latter may take his chance in what is expected to be a reduced bunch sprint in the opening stage.
For the GC, the team will focus on Egor Silin, Eduard Vorganov and U23 world champion Sven Erik Bystrøm.
