Wanty-Groupe Gobert starts the 51st Tour of Turkey (2.HC) on Sunday. Roy Jans returns racing after he injured his ribs in a Ghent-Wevelgem crash. Frederik Veuchelen also returns to the peloton after he sustained an upper leg injury in a crash in E3-Harelbeke.
Next to Jans and Veuchelen, James Vanlandschoot, Tom Devriendt, Lander Seynaeve, Jan Ghyselinck and Mirko Selvaggi will line up for the eight-days stage race in Turkey. Sports director is Steven De Neef.
Danilo Napolitano who was originally set to ride in Turkey, suffered from complications after his collarbone fracture and surgery after a crash in Three Days of West-Flanders (8 March). The Italian is currently training again and will return to racing in Four-Days of Dunkirk.
