The main protagonist of the last kilometers in Tre Valli Varesine was Andrea Fedi . The Southeast rider was the only rider to make a difference during the final passage of the key climb of Montello
"I knew Nibali was there so I wanted to do something and I tried from the distance. I was also able to create a gap but unfortunately they were strong and they came close. There was nothing to do," Fedi told Spaziociclismo.
These days, however, there are plenty of interesting races to make up for a difficuit year.
"I am fine and I want to pick up something later this year. I started to ride in June after suffering from physical problems, it was very difficult to even find the condition but finally I'm fine."
A big goal is the Coppa Sabatini: "I will ride near my house with a finish quite suitable for me," he said.
