Iljo Keisse has gone under the knife in Roeselare for a hernia on his right side. "Everything went well," said Keisse who must rest for three weeks.
Last Sunday Iljo Keisse put the arms in the air in Het Kuipke when he won the Six Days of Ghent alongside Michael Mørkøv.
Now Keisse has put his bike awat as he underwent surgery on a hernia in the Heilig Hart-Ziekenhuis in Roeselare. Keisse can not du heavy efforts for a while. His crash in Ghent has nothing to do with the injury.
"The operation went well and I want to thank the doctors. I have to rest for three weeks before I can train again," reported the Etixx-QuickStep rider.
