IAM have announced their first signing for the 2015 season. The talented Norwegian Sondre Holst Enger who finished on the podium in the 2013 Tour of Norway, will be riding for the Swiss team in his first professional season.

Sondre Holst Enger, the great young hope of Norwegian cycling, will begin his professional career on August 1st with IAM Cycling.  The 20 year old Norwegian won the U23 road race championship on June 22nd of this year, and has signed a contract to join the Swiss Pro Continental team.  

Michel Thétaz, the founder of IAM Cycling and the CEO of IAMFUNDS.CH, was pleased to announce on the second rest day at the Tour de France Enger as the first name in the recruitment campaign the team will wage for the 2015 season. 

“We have had an eye on him since last year.  He joined us during some of our early season training camps in Mallorca in January.  Here is a 20 year old rider full of talent who finished 8th at the European U23 Road Race Championships in Nyon just ten days ago.  He also featured well at the Tour of Norway in 2013 where he finished third overall and also took 2nd and 3th place in two different stages. 

"IAM Cycling is always interested in giving priority to Swiss riders, but we also have an eye out for promising and talented riders from outside Switzerland.” 

With a strong sprint and a natural tendency towards being a rouleur,Sondre Holst Enger will suit up for the first time in IAM Cycling colors for the Arctic Race of Norway from the 14th to the 17th of August.    
 
Having come to the south of France on the second rest day to greet and congratulate his team before they set off on the final stretch leading to Paris, Michel Thétaz also took time to announce the signing of two young Swiss riders, Claudio Imhof (23 years) and Simon Pellaud (21 years), as trainees beginning August 1st.
