Brabantse Pijl and Tour de Yorkshire stage winner Ben Hermans headlines the BMC Racing Team's roster for the Amgen Tour of California. The 10th annual edition of the eight-day race begins Sunday.
Hermans will get a rare chance to led the American team in their home race and is likely to target the GC. He will be supported by youngsters Manuel Senni and Joey Rosskopf in the mountains and Michael Schär, Danilo Wyss, U23 world TT champion Campbell Flakemore, Daniel Oss and Jempy Drucker in the flat stages. The latter is likely to try his hand in some of the sprint stages
