The Giro continues with a rather short stage of 153 kilometres from Forlì to Imola. The finish line is located on the Formula 1 race circuit. The stage ends with three laps of 15.4 kilometres, containing the 4th category climb Tre Monti. Is this something for Adam Hansen?
“It’s a shame there wasn’t any cooperation of the other teams in the finale of yesterday’s stage," he said. "I hope today's stage win is for a breakaway again - it looks like it could be - and I hope to be in it. I’m sure a lot of riders will try to escape in the beginning of the stage. I will do everything I can to be in the front group. Today’s profile suits me really well, there are some nice climbs.
"I don’t know much about the local lap, the climbs doesn’t seem to be very difficult. We’ll cover it a few times, that’s always an advantage. I’m a huge car fan, I’ve already gone to see some Formula 1 races but never in Imola. It would be very nice to win there!”
