As it was announced by the rider on his twitter account on Monday, Marc Goos has fractured his wrist after a crash he experienced during a training ride.
“bad luck....I broke my wrist,” Goos wrote on his twitter account.
Considered as a highly promising, 24-year old Belkin rider raised some serious interest after his victories at Tour of Berlin and Internationale Mainfranken-Tour in 2010, to claim yet another win at Vuelta Ciclista a Leon in the outfit of the Rabobank Continental Team in 2011.
Great things were expected from 24-year old Goos in his second season of riding for the Belkin team, while now the young Dutchman is facing a serious blow as he has crashed during a training ride and has fractured wrist just before the new season kicked-off.
