The third day of the Eneco Tour ended like the first two – with a bunch sprint and a different winner.
Tom Boonen (Etixx-Quick Step) won the 171.9-kilometer race ahead of Arnaud Démare (FDJ) and Stage 1 winner Elia Viviani (Team Sky).
BMC Racing Team's Jempy Drucker was on Boonen's wheel but lost contact in the final 300 meters and finished 21st.
Jesper Asselman (Roompot Oranje Peloton) kept the overall lead, one second ahead of Boonen. Drucker is the BMC Racing Team's best-placed rider, in 13th, and teammate Philippe Gilbert is two seconds back, in 14th, heading into Thursday's 14 km individual time trial.
