This morning Edoardo Zardini had new medical examinations at the Lugano Hospital, where he has been hospitalized since Sunday after the crash at the GP of Lugano. Magnetic resonance pointed out a light crushing of eight vertebrae (from 2 to 9) besides the four broken ones and already noticed during the first examinations just after the crash.
After four days precautionary immobilized in bed, Zardini tried to walk supported by the medical staff with positive results.
Tomorrow Zardini will have new examinations to decide when he can go home. There are chances he can move tomorrow abd at least during the next days. Lugano’s medical staff already commanded Zardini to use a medical corset for the entire recovery. At the moment, the doctors predict a one-month break. New examinations will be scheduled to control the improvements.
