Team Giant-Shimano will line up Tom Dumoulin, Tobias Ludvigsson and Nikias Arndt in the World ITT Championships. An in-form Dumoulin feels confident in his chances as he targets his first Worlds medal.
Dutch champion Tom Dumoulin heads to the World Championships time trial looking for a strong result against the clock.
Dumoulin has had a string of top results this season, including wins at the Critérium International, the Dutch national championships, the Eneco Tour and the Tour of Alberta.
Tobias Ludvigsson is the second of three Team Giant-Shimano riders lining up for the individual time trial, all of which raced the team time trial on Sunday where they finished eighth. The third rider is then Nikias Arndt who is looking for a strong result after a strong ride in the team event.
Dumoulin said ahead of the race: "It's a nice course with a fast, flat opening section. I hope that the form is still good on Wednesday - I have been at a good level for the past few months now and hope to continue here after some good races in Canada.
"You have to have the legs to get a top result in this race, the world's best riders are here."
