This weekend another classic Madison event took place in Australia: The Bendigo International Madison.
In recent years Leigh Howard has three wins to his credit (2008 and 2009 with Glenn O’Shea, 2011 with Cameron Meyer), but the last two years have seen European winners. In 2012 Franco Marvulli with Loïc Perizzolo and this year the German duo Leif Lampater – Christian Grasmann, already second in the Melbourne Madison last week.
The Bendigo track is a 413 Meters outdoor-track and the race-distance was 200 laps. The Germans won the race by a lap.
