Klaas Vantornout won’t be at the start of Sunday’s World Cup race in Valkenburg. The Belgian champion has been below his level for several races and now wants to find out why.
Vantornout and Sunweb-Napoleon Games squad will try to find the reasons for his failure.
"I don’t want to keep muddling along because that makes no sense. Nobody benefits if I deliver a similar performance in Valkenburt," he tells Sporza. In Ronse and in Ardooie he was not even in the top 10.
"I take care of me 200%, but my performance is below average and I want to know what's wrong with my body.”
