Omar Fraile was in the break and his Caja Rural teammates David Arroyo and Hugh Carthy did well in the finale.
Omar Fraile continues to demonstrate his good form and was part of the fbreak until the penultimate climb. Meanwhile, David Arroyo and Hugh Carthy stayed with leading riders until the end of the stage.
"I felt good the whole stage and had very good legs," Fraile said. "If the break had stayed away, I would have had options. It is a shame. I was good and hopes to have another chance in the final stage."
