The Tour de San Luis will not take place in 2017 but some of the riders who have often started in Argentina, have again decided to begin their season in the South American country at the Tour de San Juan, another Argentine 2.1 race.
The 2017 edition will take place from 23 to 29 January and will have 25 teams, including four from the WorldTour. Barhain-Merida, Quick-Step, Trek and TJ Sport have decided to make the trip and should line up riders like Vincenzo Nibali, Fernando Gaviria and Giacomo Nizzolo. In theneral, there will be many Italian teams at the start.
