Having been part of the Saxo Bank structure between 2010 and 2012, Jarosław Marycz has been riding for the Polish team CCC Sprandi-Polkowice since 2013. But, at the end of the 2016 season, the 29-year-old rider did not get a new contract with the professional continental team.
Since then, Marycz has been searching for a new team but the former Polish TT champion has still not found anything. Like a few others, he has now taken to social networks in order to find a solution to his current situation. On Twitter, the European vice-champion of 2009 wrote:
"Still no team for 2017. Let's check the true power of Twitter. If anyone knows someone who could help me to find a new team, let me know.”
Before him, Ilia Koshevoy and Fredrik Ludvigsson used a similar strategy, and both managed to find a contract for next year.
