The third week of February is a key time for every professional bike rider who has the chance to line up in no less than four quality stage races to prepare for later objectives. One of those is the Vuelta a Andalusia which offers a mountainous and versatile route with two summit finishes, a technical opening prologue, and two sprint stages. Alejandro Valverde will be back to make it three in a row but he faces the daunting task of beating the Sky duo of Richie Porte and Bradley Wiggins.
Starting at 14.15 CET you can follow the opening prologue here. You can read our preview here.
