At 220 km stage 6 of Paris-Nice is a difficult affair taking in a number of the hills around Nice. Starting at 14.30 you can follow the race live on CyclingQuotes.com.
Stage 6 promises to test the rider's climbing legs with 5 categorized climbs along the way, including the category 1 ascents of Cote de Cabris and Col du Ferrier. At 220 km the stage is seen as a perfect test for Milan-Sanremo.
With the top of the last climb 71,5 km from the finish, few expect a GC battle with the overall contenders saving their legs for tomorrow's time trial up Col d'Eze. Instead the stage seems suited to a long breakaway, but do not exclude the possibility of a sprint in a reduced bunch on the Promenade d'Anglais in Nice this afternoon.
