While the Vuelta riders prepare themselves for the extremely steep uphill finish in Valdepeñas de Jaen, some of the best classics riders and toughest sprinters make themselves ready for 9 laps on the 27km circuit in Plouay that's the scene for the WorldTour GP Ouest France - Plouay. Two hard climbs and a race distance of 243km turn the French event into a very hard affair that has been won by both strong sprinters from small groups or some of the best escape artists from late attacks on the steep climbs.
