For a lot of cycling enthusiasts the spring is the nicest period of the cycling season. Classic races such as the Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix and Liège-Bastogne-Liège, keep many cycling fan glued to the screen the entire afternoon.

According to tradition, the classics season starts with the Flemish opening weekend, featuring the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne on 28-02 and 01 March. These two semi-classics also constitute the start of the Fantasy Spring CyClassics 2015.

Just like in 2014, each participant needs to create a team of 20 cyclists that fit within a predetermined budget, which for this edition of the Fantasy Spring CyClassics will amount to 175 million Euros. A value has been placed on all riders, for example: Philippe Gilbert costs 16.5 million, Fabian Cancellara 30 million, Tom Boonen 17.6 million and Peter Sagan 27.1 million. The riders can score points by ending up in the top 25 of a classic or semi classic. In total fourteen races have been scheduled on the calendar for 2015. In addition to the five classics (in which the winners have to be predicted in order to obtain bonus points), the races include the Strade Bianchi, Across Flanders (“Dwars door Vlaanderen”) and the Flèche Wallonne.

The game costs 7 euro per team and will start with 7,000 euro as minimum amount of prizes. The first prize in the general classification (50 prizes) will be 600 euro. Per race (14) you can also win 115 euro (40, 25, 20, 15, 10, 5).

Finally you can win with your friends, colleagues and family 235 euro in the sub league classification (75, 50, 35, 25, 20, 15, 10, 5 euro). This makes it attractive to unite your cycling knowledge in a sub league together with friends, family and colleagues. As more teams have been paid, the prizes will increase accordingly.
