The first prize for the general classification is now 1,300 euro.

With the start of the Tour de San Luis (20-01 17.00 hours) and the Tour Down Under the cycling peloton for 2014 is on it’s way. It is also the beginning of a long and smashing cycling season  on Zweeler with the start of the Fantasy Cycling Year Game 2014. For only 10 euro you can compete for a part of the prize pool of at least  12,500 Euro.


More then 900 riders are added in the Cycling Year Game and divied into groups. The ‘best’ 60 riders are in the groups A till E and the rest is added to group F. When creating a team the player is required to make choices because you can only choose a few riders per group. For example: In group A, which exists out of Chris Froome, Vincenzo Nibali, Joaquim Rodriguez, Peter Sagan and Alejandro Valverde, you can pick 2 riders. A team exists out of 30 riders and there are 55 races which count for the Fantasy Cycling Year Game.


Prizes:

Participating in the Fantasy Cycling Year Game (start 20-01 17.00 Hours) will cost 10 euro per team. You are allowed to create as much teams as you want with only one restriction; Every team needs to have 6 different riders. The prize pool is guaranteed and starts at 12,500 euro. This amount will increase when there are enough paid team to cover the 60% of prizes which Zweeler always pays out. You can win prizes for the general classification, first period, tour classification, classics classification and the sub league classification. The first prize for the general classification is now 1,300 euro.


Other cycling games:

Besides the Fantasy Cycling Year Game there are also 2 Tour Games starting. The Tour de San Luis starts at 20-01 17.00 hours and has a prize pool of 850 euro. The Tour Down Under starts at 21-01 1.30 hours and has a prize pool of at least 1,300 euro. Zweeler organised more then 130 Cycling Games in 2013 and many more games for all other sports.
