ORICA-GreenEDGE send a mixed team to the Škoda Tour De Luxembourg this week in their debut of the UCI race.
The fast fairly young team will be searching for stage victories under the guidance of experienced 38-year-old Paris-Roubaix winner Mathew Hayman.
"Predominantly we will be targeting stage wins with Caleb Ewan," explained Sport director Matt Wilson. "He gained a lot of valuable experience recently racing at the Giro d'Italia and we've got a really strong group of guys heading to Luxembourg to support him.
"As far as the general classification goes we have Danish rider Chris Juul-Jensen. I think he can go pretty well here, it will all depends on how hard the climbs are in this area."
The team has a diverse line up for the five day tour with fellow Dane Magnus Cort, known for his skill and speed along with the latest addition to ORICA-GreenEDGE outfit for 2016, the rider from Hong Kong, Cheung King-Lok.
Australian powerhouse Luke Durbridge boosts the Australian outfit and is looking forward to his debut of the Tour.
"It's going to be an exciting race," Durbridge explained. "It's the first time in five years that the team has raced the Tour of Luxembourg, we have a good mix of guys returning to racing after a big classics stint.
"We will look to be aggressive and to tune the form leading into the Tour de Suisse and for some of the riders, the Tour de France.
"We have a really good lead out train with a balance of youth and experience, and it is great to have Hayman to help guide the younger team."
Track star Alex Edmondson rounds up the seven man squad and with his expertise in the four kilometre team pursuit event, the short sharp opening prologue provides an ideal distance for the young Australian to shine.
