Samuel Sanchez will be spearheading the Euskaltel team as the first spring classic of the season gets under way in Italy on Sunday.
In the Tirreno-Adriatico Sanchez came fifth on the tantalizingly difficult stage on Monday and ended 18 overall, mainly due to predictably mediocre performances on the TTT and the ITT respectively.
The 2008 Olympic road race gold medallist will be joined by Gorka Izagirre, Egoi Martinez, Jorge Azanza, Miguel Minguez, Robert Vrecer, Ioannis Tamouridis, Ricardo Garcia and Garikoitz Bravo.
Cyclingquotes.com will be bringing live updates from Milan-San Remo starting at 14.30 on Sunday.
