A new professional team based in Netherlands will be found in 2015, in the Limburg province, and under the name of Euregio Pro Cycling. The project is driven by Marcel Pisters and Bernd Oldenbeuving, and will have a budget of 28 million euros for 4 years(2015-2019), and will target World Tour status, according to biciciclismo.com.
Euregio is a cross-border region in Netherlands and Germany, and it's the first ever Euroregion, found in 1958. It contains part of the Dutch provinces Gelderland, Overijssel and Drenthe, as well as part of German states of Niedersachsen and Nordrhein-Westfalen. The Euregio team will try to obtain the best talent in the region, as well as neighbouring areas including Limburg and even areas in Belgium.
The team will try to obtain Pro Continental status in 2015.
