Martin Elmiger of IAM Cycling will not be able to participate in the Belgian spring classic Paris-Roubaix, which will be led by Sylvain Chavanel. Elmiger abandoned from the Ronde van Vlaanderen because of an early crash cause by another rider.
Elmiger had a MRI done on Monday in Switzerland. The 35 year old Swiss suffered from a fractured left scaphoid. Estimation says he will be out of competition in at least 6 weeks.
