Leonardo Duque will end his career after the Tour of Taihu Lake. The 36-year-old Frenchman who skipped his Colombian passport a few years ago, made the announcement in an interview with Cyclism'Actu . "This is the right time for turn the page,” said Duque.
Today the fast Delko Marseille Provence KTM rider finished second in the mountain stage of the Tour of Taihu Lake. He won the sprint behind escapee Cameron Bayly. After the Chinese stage race, it will all be over.
"This is my last race," said Duque. "On Saturday I will hang up my bike. I made the decision to quit myself. I have been in contact with several teams, but it is not my thing to ride only to get a salary. This is the right time to turn the page."
