First he said that he would leave the team but now it seems that Fabio Duarte will stay at Team Colombia in 2015. Having admitted that he was considering a lucrative offer from another team, the Colombian has decided to stay at the South American team.
After lots of discussion, Fabio Duarte has decided to continue with the Colombia team and its leader Claudio Corti. The 28-year-old Colombian will do his fourth consecutive team at the Colombian team and has cancelled his plans to join the WorldTour.
The 2008 U23 World champion will be the natural leader of Corti's team and try to return to his winning ways. He has finished second in four stage of the Giro d'Italia - he did so twice in 2014 - but he hasn't won a race since 2012.
Colombia 2015 (18 riders):
Fabio Duarte, Edwin Avila, Jonathan Paredes, Darwin Pantoja, Edward Diaz, Miguel Angel Rubiano, Carlos Julian Quintero, Leonardo Duque, Rodolfo Torres and Juan Pablo Valencia (will stay with the team); Cayetano Sarmiento, Alex Cano, Walter Pedraza, Jorge Camilo Castiblanco, Juan Sebastián Molano, Carlos Mario Ramirez, Brayan Ramirez and Daniel Martinez (new signings).
