In 2015, Thomas De Gendt will be riding in Lotto Soudal colours. His new team has now published photos of their Belgian star and new signings Jasper de Buyst and Tiesj Benoot.

Thomas de Gendt is ready to wear the Lotto Soudal jersey in his first race at the Tour Down Under. The Belgian rider is the main signing of Marc Sergeant's team. Neo-pro Tiesj Benoot and former Topsport Vlaanderen rider Jasper de Buyst are the other additions.

De Gendt had his career highlight in the 2012 Giro d'Italia when he won the queen stage to the top of the Stelvio and finished third overall. Furthermore, he has won stages in Paris-Nice, Tour de Suisse and Volta a Catalunya. However, the last two seasons have been littered with disappointments. From 2011-2013, he rode for Vacansoleil-DCM and last year he found a late spot on the Omega Pharma-Quick Step team. Now he will start the next chapter at Lotto Soudal where he will make his debut at the Tour Down Under.

Benoot rode as a stagiaire in 2014 and finished 4th at the U23 Worlds while de Buyst is one of the best track riders in the world.

André Greipel, Jurgen van den Broeck, Jelle Vanendert, Tony Gallopin and Tim Wellens are the five leaders of the Belgian team.
