According to cyclismactu.net, 27-year-old Remi Cusin will retire from pro cycling at the end of season.
A decent rouleur, Cusin took a stage in 2011 Tour of Denmark when he broke away with Breschel and won the two-men sprint. He also took multiple top-10 results in minor spring classics, like Le Samyn and Tro-Bro Leon.
Cusin did not receive a new contract from IAM Cycling, his current and final pro team. While he may still find a new team, he did not think he would find a spot in "a great team like IAM". Also, the Frenchman considered other factors as well, such as family burden, in his decision to leave the peloton.
IAM Cycling upgraded its weapon this offseason, recruiting strong riders like Sylvain Chavanel and Mathias Frank, thus they decided to part way with Cusin, whose contract expires after this season.
