The course of the ‘Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen’ is official. The stage-race that is also known as the ‘Johan Museeuw Classics’, will take place from 6 till 8 March in 2015.
“Our race will start for the fifth year in a row with a prologue through the streets of Middelkerke”, race-director Wim Mattheus told het Nieuwsblad. The riders will start in front of the Casino of Middelkerke.
The second stage will start in Brugge, the city that also hosts the start of the ‘Ronde van Vlaanderen’. The stage will finish in Harelbeke, but not on the same location as in previous years.
“Because of road constructions, we are not able to finish on the ‘Grote Markt’. We will have to look for an alternative location.”
The third and final stage will go from Nieuwpoort to Ichtegem. The stage will include several climbs that are known from Gent-Wevelgem, like the ‘Kemmelberg’ and the ‘Monteberg’.
