After two years at Lampre-Merida, Mario Costa will end his career

Mario Faria da Costa, Rui's older brother, has ended his professional career. 

 

Costa joined the Lampre team in 2015, one year after his brother, after having been riding for Portuguese teams (Benfica, Barbot - Siper and OFM - Quinta da Lixa). 

 

He announced the news in a Facebook post on December 31, 2016, where he made it clear that he will now devote himself to his other two passions: acupuncture and osteopathy. He celebrated his 31st birthday on November 15.
