The relationship between Rui Costa and the Tour de Suisse has always been special, thanks to the three victories in a row obtained by the Portuguese champion in 2012-2013-2014.
Rui Costa will be back at the Tour de Suisse after one year of absenceand he'll will also do the GP Canton d'Argovie Gippingen (June 9) which is a very interesting foretaste of the WorldTour race.
In Switzerland, he will be joined by two riders who recently won two stages in the Tour of Japan: Arashiro and Cimolai.
This is the blue-fuchsia-green line-up for the two races: Yukiya Arashiro, Matteo Bono, Davide Cimolai, Kristijan Durasek, Mario Costa, Rui Costa, Przemyslaw Niemiec and Jan Polanc.
Rui Costa will be the captain for the World Tour race and he'll count on good climbers like Durasek and Niemiec, on the versatility of Mario Costa and Polanc and on the experience of Bono. Cimolai and Arashiro will be precious for Rui Costa on the plain and, in the early stages, they'll try to achieve their own results.
