Kris Boeckmans and Andrea Guardini took the two top positions in the Tour de Picardie but there was also room for the continental riders to shine.

Evaldas Siskevicius (La Pomme Marseille) was in the break in all three stages and picked up enough bonus seconds to finish third overall.

"I was in virtual second place when I was in the breakaway, but I couldn't keep it," he told Directvelo. "In the early stage, Ignas [Konovalovas] helped me and Benji [Giraud]. I was tired from my efforts yesterday, but a little better at the end of race. I could take the bonus along the way, but it was not enough. We did our best.

"With the Tour de Picardie, I finish a race block but I will extend it next week in the GP Plumelec and Boucles de l'Aulne, replacing Remy Di Gregorio. Then I will start a new block which is very important to me: the European Games (Baku, Azerbaijan), the Lithuanian Championships and the Tour of Austria."

Alexis Bodiot (Armee) finished seventh overall and won the combination jersey.

"For a first participation, we can be happy," he told Directvelo. "Fabien [Canal] finished 5th in the overall standings with his breakaway on the first day. I escaped yesterday and is 7th. The team was in a good momentum in this Tour de Picardie. We hope to continue the momentum in Paris-Arras Tour next week and Boucles de l'Aulne."
