The report on the doping era of cycling from the Cycling Independent Reform Commission is expected from the UCI within the next few weeks, either at the end of next month of the beginning of March.
UCI officials confirmed to VeloNews that the CIRC will deliver its report by “early in March at the latest,” if not by late February as scheduled. Officials also confirmed the UCI would “publish the report in full” soon after an official announcement.
A panel of three people was given a broad mandate, as well as a hefty budget of more than $3 million, by the UCI last year when it created CIRC in January and their job was to deal with the creation of the report after the UCI had it commissioned.
Many f the biggest dopes from 199 to 2013 have come forward and spoken to CIRC, most notably Lance Armstrong. There has been no indication of whether names and details of systematic doping will be included in the version of the report made available to the public.
