After the Tour of Qatar opener, the 2016 season continues in the Middle East with the six stage Tour of Oman. Four riders from the line-up at Qatar will continue racing, joined by four sets of fresh legs in Gerald Ciolek (GER), Linus Gerdemann (GER), Rasmus Guldhammer (DEN) and Romain Lemarchand (FRA).
The seventh edition of the race gets underway on Wednesday with each of the six days offering something different, including a flat stage on day three, and a mountain-top finish on stage four, atop Green Mountain.
"I think we are well prepared for a sprint finish with Ciolek as well as for difficult and challenging stages with Guldhammer who both start their seasons in Oman, together with two more riders who join four from Qatar," explained Team Stölting Service Group Sports Director Gregor Willwohl. "Besides working for an opportunity for a stage result we try to be active every day to keep making our presence known at this level of international cycling."
