In today's first stage of the 4 Days of Dunkirk, Sylvain Chavanel returned to action after missing some of the classics due to bronchitis and he immediately tested his legs with an attack in the finale. Even though he failed to make it to the end, it capped an impressive showing of his IAM team which was the only one to have all of its riders in the front group on the windy day in France.
