Cannondale-Garmin have been anonymous since Dan Martin abandoned the Vuelta. Sickness has set them back but today Ben King at least put them slightly in the spotlight when he joined the right breakaway.
“I’ve been sick for two weeks. We’ve got probably four more of us still fighting this cough. So that’s definitely been tough to sleep and recover between the stages. We’re still fighting, you can’t win if you don’t try," he said.
