Despite not having a big-name sprinter in the race, Cannondale-Garmin tried to mix it up in the bunch sprint in Scheldeprijs. Unfortunately, three of the team riders were involved in the big crash that marred the finish.
DS Andreas Klier says: "Ruben Zepuntke and Jack Bauer went down. Lasse Hansen was caught up in the crash but didn't hit the ground. For the most part, everyone seems ok. We always keep a close eye on those that crash, and we'll do the same with Ruben and Jack tonight."
