Fleche Wallonne was the fourth WorldTour Race for Bretagne-Séché Environnement. After Paris-Nice, the Tour of Catalonia and Paris-Roubaix, it showed that the team is able to match the best teams in the world but to achieve their goals to be competitive at the highest level, there are still a few steps to take. Nonetheless, the Fleche Wallonne performance left the team optimistic.

Jonathan Hivert joined Bretagne to give a boost to his career after a lacklustre year at Belkin. He is already successful, although he has not taken a victory yet. Hivert showed his talent in the finale on the Mur de Huy and ended the race in 16th.

"This is my place , it was appropriate," he said. "I was between 15th and 20th at the bottom and I stayed there. I'm still missing something to consider a top 10 in such a race."

Since the beginning of February and his 5th place in La Marseillaise, he has taken six top 5 results and been in the top 20 15 times in just over thirty days of racing and he was already a protagonist at the WorldTour level in Catalonia. Hivert will now take a break to prepare for later goals, like the French Championships.

In March, Brice Feillu had to interrupt his season, suffering from back pain after a crash at the Etoile de Bessèges. 

"After several weeks without training, It's hard to come back in the Criterium International where all the guys are at a high level," said the youngest of the Feillu brothers. After a good feeling at the Tour du Finistère, Fleche Wallonne showed that Feillu is going in the right direction fir  the Tour de France. He spent 185km in a breakaway, and would have liked to go a little further if his companions, Thomas de Gendt in particular, had not been attacking. Nevertheless, Feillu has erased some doubt and will continue his preparation for the Tour of Turkey. He still has time to find his best legs for July.

Eduardo Sepulveda had extreme courage to continue in the Tour of Catalunya after a heavy crash on the third day and a few hours in the hospital in the evening. But after the end of the race, he took care of his injuries. He hir his jaw and broke a tooth. Finally, he returned from his break in Fleche Wallone - and almost crashed. In the finale of the race, he missed a preparation event for the legs respond as they should , he stressed. It's hard to get back to that level after four weeks.  However, he was still there on the Cote de Chevrase with 5km to go and so demonstrated his potential and he is still fully focused on his debut Tour de France.

Bretagne recently impressed in the Tro Bro Leon. They didn't win that race but five riders (Jarrier, Périchon, Vachon, Ledanois and Delaplace) finished between 2nd and 11th and were always in the mix Collectively, the team also worked well at the Fleche Wallonne. Brice Feillu was in the breakaway but Pierre-Luc Périchon and Matthieu Boulo were so close to making it. Jonathan Hivert, Pierrick Fedrigo, Eduardo Sepulveda and Florian Vachon were close to being with the best on the Cote de Chevrase. Armindo Fonseca had been taken out by a crash (with Froome) and a puncture. Bretagne-Séché Environnement is getting stronger collectively. In this regard, Pierrick Fedrigo has played a big role while also being able to achieve excellent results himself.

At the moment the team has taken seven wins in 2015 and also leads theads the UCI Europe Tour.
